The 150th winner of the St Leger, held on Wednesday 9th September 1925 over 1 mile 6 furlongs and 132 yards of Town Moor, was Solario, a bay colt by Gainsborough out of Sun Worship, owned by Sir John Rutherford. A field of 15 runners contested the race which was worth £6,500.
